When I last tried walking Manhattan’s Hudson Street back in January, I had to abort due to freezing temps combined with continuous bouts of rain, posing danger to my non weather sealed cameras. So it was just my luck the day I attempted walk Hudson Street a whole eight months later, it started to drizzle with persistence. This will sound conveniently dramatic, but as I pondered whether to back out once again on this apparently cursed stretch of pavement from the West Village to Tribeca, I saw an iPhone billboard and elected to attempt it using only my phone camera. Though admittedly quite a struggle bus, it was a valiant effort and an important experiment in the B by B canon. Enjoy the mobile, there’s-an-app-for-that walk, block by block:
