Block by Block: Prospect Avenue, Hamilton Avenue

Brooklyn’s Prospect Avenue sprouts off from the beginning of the Prospect Expressway, paving through the neighborhoods of Windsor Terrace and South Slope before reuniting with the highway before the Gowanus Canal, where it becomes Hamilton Avenue. From there, it hugs Interstate 278 until it reaches Red Hook’s port, below the East River. Enjoy last Sunday’s walk through it all, block-by-block:
